Holidays are just around the corner, and we want you to have a healthier and happier Holiday 2022! Food can be so tasty these weeks, we want to give you some tips to live parties in a healthy and balanced way.

  1. Protect your plan during the holidays

You may not control the food people served you, and you will see other people eating tempting treats. Face challenges armed with a plan:
Eat close to your usual time to keep your blood sugar stable. If your meal is served later than usual, have a small snack at lunchtime and eat a little less when dinner its served.
Did you get invited to a party? Offer to bring a healthy dish, you can also bring our new Protein Puffs, a perfect snack to welcome all your guests.
If you eat a sweet treat, reduce other carbohydrates (such as potatoes and bread) during the meal, or replace it for new products after all your salad dinner you can prepare a healthy and tasty bowl with our Quinoa Cereals of chocolate and cinnamon.

2. Time to beat the buffet

When faced with a variety of delicious food at parties, make it easy to choose healthy options:

Serve your favorite foods on a small plate and stay away from the buffet table.
Don’t forget vegetables! start first with vegetables to decrease your appetite. Not a vegetable lover? you should try our Fruity Kids bar or a new kind of snack that is a mix of Fruits and Vegetables!
Eat slow. It takes your brain at least 20 minutes to realize that you are full.
Also, plan to keep an eye on your blood sugar. Check more often while on vacation, and if you take medication, ask your doctor if you need to adjust your dosage.

3. Give preference to your favorites

There is nothing on the list of bad foods. Choose dishes that you really like that you can’t eat at any other time of the year, like Aunt Edna’s pumpkin pie.
Eat what you love but be carefully and do not eat excessively

4. Keep moving

In this year’s season you have a lot on your hands, and physical activity can be displaced. But being physically active is your secret weapon at parties; it can help you make up for eating more than usual and reduce stress during this most stressful time of year.
Move with your friends or your family; For example, go for a walk after a holiday dinner, and if you get hungry during these exercises you can try other foods like our Quinoa bars.

5. Sleep

Going out more and returning late often means cutting down on the time you sleep. Losing hours of sleep can make it harder to manage your blood sugar, cause when you’re awake you may eat more and prefer high-fat, high-sugar foods. Aim to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night to avoid mindless eating.

Most importantly, remember that the season is for celebrating and connecting with the people you love. So, enjoy every moment and eat real food, eat Superfoods From The Andes. What was your favorite tip for this holiday? Follow these 5 tips and have a healthy and great holiday!
