Carnival is coming soon along with joy, relaxation and customs that date back with hundreds of years. We usually celebrate it with our friends and family, but this festivity is not only about parties and fun, it represents the culture of our beloved country through ceremonies, rituals, and costumes. 

The best about all these celebrations is realizing how incredible and diverse Ecuador is on a cultural level. All its colors, gastronomy and customs that attract us and make us love our roots even more. 

We share 3 festivities that have positioned themselves as the most epic throughout these years:  

1. The Festival of fruits and flowers

Takes place in Ambato, where multiple allegorical cars that are decorated by the flowers and fruits of that agricultural area, parade through the streets.

2. Guaranda Carnival 

It is celebrated in the streets with games, streamers, flowers, candies and of course with water. A festival of typical foods is also held to delight citizens and tourists.

3. The Taita Carnival of Guamote 

Takes place in Guamote, in Chimborazo´s province. Where its rhythmic tradition and folklore are celebrated, carrying out a party program that lasts almost two weeks.
