“A Greener World: Join the Wipala Tribe on Recycling Day”.
By: Tribu WipalaToday, May 17th, is celebrated worldwide as recycling day and as Wipala tribe we want to do our bit by informing our community about the importance of recycling and how we contribute to the environment for a greener world. Are you ready?
Why is it important to recycle?
With the passing of time, the topic of recycling has been resonating much more in society and it is of vital importance to know the benefits of recycling.
It is not only enough to sort waste or collect the bottles we find in forests or beaches, but we must educate ourselves.
To do this we must start by:
–Saving energy since in this way we contribute to the fact that companies produce fewer products, which reflects a lower energy consumption.
– Let’s be allies of cloth bags, the best thing is that we can reuse it, let’s leave aside the conventional use of plastic bags.
– Reduce the use of natural resources, if we recycle materials that we no longer use we can obtain new raw materials, without the need to go through a process that involves the extraction of environmental goods.
2. Wipala for a Greener World
We are guardians of Pachamama and we feel a great responsibility to contribute to the construction of a greener world through our tribe.
As a team we develop activities that allow us to recycle and contribute with our grain of sand.
-At Wipala we recycle paper, as it is used for office printing, shipping orders or even sketches for a new idea.
-We use biodegradable packaging because when it decomposes it does not release chemicals or gases into the atmosphere, thus reducing the carbon footprint. In addition, they can be recycled or used again.
-Organic raw material: We use this type of raw material instead of chemical products because it helps us to reduce pollutants that are released into the environment, thus producing rich, organic and natural snacks.
We, as Wipala, are committed to continue contributing to the construction of a greener world, we are focused on leaving a footprint for our tribe, since the environment connects us to our roots and spirit.
And you, what are you committed?
